Special Programs

For those groups with children from 3 to 12 years old, seniors or people with special needs, the Museo Larco offers the possibility of booking a program suited to their interests.

These programs can be booked in Spanish or English, and are subject to the availability of educators.

Family Programs

Explore the museum’s collection and discover fascinating stories from ancient Peru through interactive activities, challenges and games.

Seniors

Designed for seniors, the “Role Play in Ancient Peru” program aims to teach visitors about the different roles and duties performed by ancient Peruvians.

Visitors with Special Needs

The Museo Larco is an accessible space, offering specially designed programs for audiences with special physical and/or intellectual abilities. In addition, the museum’s education department can design a visit tailored to the interests and needs of groups. All such visits must be booked in advance.

  • Discover Ancient Peru Through Touch
    Aimed at blind and visually impaired persons.
  • Exploring the Animals and Fruits of the Museum
    Aimed at children aged 3 to 6 years with different abilities (autism spectrum, cognitive impairment, Down syndrome).
  • Ancient Peru Through Images
    Aimed at people with hearing impairment.

Group of 1 to 5 people S/400
Group of 6 to 10 members S/550
Group of 11 to 15 members S/700

This payment is made in addition to the entrance tickets. For Family Programs, children should pay the program from 3 years old.

Advance booking is required for these programs (subject to the availability of museum educators).

Each museum educator can only attend a maximum of 10 visitors. Larger groups will need to be divided into smaller groups. *Maximum of visitors subject to change.

Bookings

For inquiries or bookings, contact the museum’s education department by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

Booking e-mails must be sent a minimum of one week in advance, and include date, time and name of the selected program (in the case of Family Programs, the ages of the children should be also included).

Any modification to the scheduled time must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, and will be subject to the availability of the museum’s educators.

The museum will wait 15 minutes for late arrivals. After this time, the museum will be under no obligation to provide the service.
