  • Material: Cotton warp thread. Dyed camelid fiber weft thread.
  • Technique: Slit tapestry.
  • Both the tunic (uncu) and the kilt are decorated with figures shown wearing fringed attire very similar to the garments they adorn.
  • In the lower bands of both garments, an anthropomorphized wave is depicted as a gateway to the ocean and the underworld.
  • Their large size would seem to indicate that these textiles were used to clothe a funerary bundle.
